This event was in aid of the SAG Foundation's Catastrophic Health Fund which provides medical assistance grants to actors whose catastrophic illness or injury has rendered them unable to work and without the means to afford medical insurance through the Guild Health Plan’s Self-Pay Program. Participation in this Golf Classic increases the number of actors receiving medical care when they need it the most.
